Boss TU-2 Chromatic Tuner

I'm a very heavy handed player and have the tendency to put my guitar out of tune. I also break strings every now and then. I bought this as a stage tuner so I can tune up on the fly at gigs without having to unplug. The fact that I can mute the signal means I can tune in silence, and that's good!
