Open Plan Recording Grill Microphone

I wasn't planning on getting a second ribbon microphone but then a limited $100 discount for pre-ordering a Grill came along and I went "Fuck it, sure" and ordered one. Based on the Royer R-121, it looks sexy as fuck and, SURPRISE, it sounds great! Pretty good as a drum overhead amongst other things. Well worth the money.
