Tom Yocky Mountain Dulcimer

Now this instrument is fun. Yet another side effect of listening to too much British folk music. I bought this on eBay to replace a cheapie plywood dulcimer that I had.

The instrument was built by Tom Yocky in 2008 and is called Day & Night. It has a Western Red Cedar top, Walnut back, and Crosscut Sweet Gum sides. The bridge saddle and nut are made from Ebony. All woods are solid. It is a beautiful instrument which I am extremely happy with.
