Former Electro-Harmonix Linear Power Booster 2 (Dave Thomas' Booster)

This pedal was given to me by Dave Thomas (THANKS!!!), former guitarist from Bored and Magic Dirt, currently in In Vivo. I met him via my boss, James Lomas, when I saw them play. Being a total "fan-boy", I was constantly offering to modify and fix any of Dave's equipment every time I saw him. Then one day he gave me this box and said that I can keep it as he no longer uses it. So what is this box. It was an LPB-2 but the original circuit was replaced with an op-amp booster. This thing boosts the signal to a massive level that drives the input of my Laney into overdrive. I plan to pop this circuit into another enclosure and rebuild the LPB-2 as it originally would've been.
